What do we know about Palestine?
The ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine has been a contentious issue for decades, with no end in sight. But what do we really know about Palestine?
First of all, it is important to understand that the Palestinian people have lived in their homeland for centuries. They are an ancient people who trace their roots back thousands of years before the establishment of Israel as a state.
The Palestinians have suffered greatly under Israeli occupation and continue to face daily oppression from the Israeli government today.
Palestine is home to many diverse cultures and religions including Muslims, Christians, Druze and Jews living side by side peacefully until recent times when tensions began escalating due to religious differences as well as political ones stemming from different views on how best to solve the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians over land rights or other issues related thereto.
In addition there are also cultural divides such as language (Arabic versus Hebrew) which further complicate matters making progress towards peace difficult at times but not impossible if both sides can find common ground on which they agree upon mutually beneficial solutions going forward into future generations so that peace can prevail in this region once again like it did long ago before modern day conflicts arose therein .
Despite these challenges facing them today, the Palestinian people remain resilient - determinedly working together despite adversity.
Their spirit remains strong even amidst continued violence, poverty & displacement caused by military occupation & siege – showing immense courage & resilience against seemingly insurmountable odds.
This strength was recently demonstrated during protests over US President Donald Trump’s recognition Jerusalemas capital cityofIsraelin December 2017 where hundreds gathered unarmed yet still managedto make their voices heard loud&clear around world stage demonstrating collective power through peaceful resistance movement known "Great March Return" demanding freedom justice equality rights denied them far too long now finally time being addressed international community level ensure lasting solution achieved soonest possible date benefit everyone involved situation Middle East currently finds itself embroiled within !
